What is Chiropractic?

‘A health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. There is an emphasis on manual treatments including spinal adjustment and other joint and soft-tissue manipulation.’  World Federation of Chiropractic

Chiropractic is safe, mainstream, effective and affordable, with people of all ages benefiting from care. As musculoskeletal experts, we provide qualified, effective treatment to promote general health, alleviate pain and improve your quality of life. Our Chiropractors are all trained at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. The course is 5 years in duration, covering clinical anatomy, neurology, radiology, differential diagnosis, rehabilitation and physical therapy.

We believe that everyone is different, which is why we take an individualised approach with your body. No individual treatment will be the same at our clinic.

What are the benefits of seeing a Chiropractor?

Chiropractors are extensively educated in the prevention, assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions. At Walter Road Chiropractic we will recommend a goal-orientated treatment plan to help relieve pain, improve function and facilitate prevention. This can range from pain relief to injury prevention.
